Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples and reagents according to established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently under supervision.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Record, document, and manage experimental data and results meticulously in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
  • Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup and data collection.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to inventory management of lab supplies and reagents.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
  • Demonstrated foundational understanding of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
