Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Execute routine laboratory experiments and tests under supervision, strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate various laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of experimental apparatus, ensuring all components are properly sterilized or cleaned.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and proper storage of chemicals and materials.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and quality control procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment conducive to effective research.
- Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and continuous training programs to foster ongoing learning and collaboration.
- Perform basic data analysis and preliminary interpretation of results under senior staff guidance.
Required Skills
- Educational background in Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, or related field).
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., accurate pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols precisely and consistently.
