Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples, reagents, and media according to established protocols with meticulous precision.
  • Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on various laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, incubators).
  • Assist in the execution of experimental protocols under the direct guidance of senior scientific staff.
  • Accurately record, document, and manage experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
  • Perform basic data analysis and generate initial reports to support research findings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations, GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), and internal quality control procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management of lab supplies, chemicals, and reagents, placing orders as needed.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and promptly report any significant malfunctions to senior technicians.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions and sharing insights to foster a collaborative research environment.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a closely related scientific field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of general laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of data recording and experimental execution.
  • Proven ability to follow complex instructions and experimental protocols precisely.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation.
