Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, media, and solutions.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Accurately record, compile, and present experimental data.
  • Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis and experimentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on ongoing research projects.
  • Order and manage laboratory supplies and inventory.
  • Participate in data analysis and interpretation under the guidance of senior scientists.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and experimental techniques.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all experimental procedures and data recording.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols precisely.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic, internship, or volunteer) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience with specific analytical instruments (e.g., spectrophotometers, pH meters) is advantageous.
