Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for experimental procedures accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and basic troubleshooting.
- Record and document experimental data meticulously in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of experiments and research studies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and reagents, reporting shortages as needed.
- Process and analyze data under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve research objectives.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on experimental results.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field.
