Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tasks, including media preparation, sterilization, and equipment cleaning.
  • Assist senior researchers in setting up and conducting experiments following established protocols.
  • Accurately record, manage, and analyze experimental data, maintaining detailed laboratory notebooks.
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions with precision and strict adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
  • Monitor inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and reagents, reporting shortages to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, quality control standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of lab equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and experimental execution.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
