Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process samples, reagents, and media for various experiments according to established protocols.
- Assist senior researchers with experimental setup, execution, and data collection.
- Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning equipment, glassware, and work areas.
- Manage laboratory inventory, stock supplies, and reagents, ensuring proper storage and timely reordering.
- Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers).
- Accurately record and document experimental procedures, observations, and results in lab notebooks or digital systems.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Assist in the calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and experimental methodologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and principles (e.g., aseptic technique, solution preparation).
- Proficiency in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
