Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and media accurately for various experiments and procedures.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Document all experimental data, observations, and results meticulously and accurately.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in laboratory meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support senior technicians and scientists in research projects and experimental setups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Report any deviations, issues, or unusual observations promptly to senior staff.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent with a strong interest in science.
- Basic understanding of scientific principles (biology, chemistry, or physics).
