Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end licensing process for music and media content, including negotiation, execution, and tracking.
- Maintain and update comprehensive databases of licensing agreements, artist contracts, and associated metadata.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and intellectual property laws.
- Process royalty statements, ensuring accurate calculation and timely payment to rights holders.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams (legal, finance, A&R) and external partners (licensors, licensees).
- Monitor content usage across various platforms and identify potential licensing opportunities or infringements.
- Provide administrative support for contract preparation and document management.
- Stay informed on industry trends, licensing regulations, and emerging technologies within the music and media sectors.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in licensing, rights management, or intellectual property within the music or media industry (minimum 2 years).
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property rights, copyright, and licensing agreements.
