  • Fold, press, and neatly stack clean linens and uniforms according to established standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of linens, reporting shortages or surpluses to management.
  • Ensure the laundry area is kept clean, organised, and free from hazards at all times, adhering to all hygiene protocols.
  • Manage the proper use and storage of laundry chemicals and supplies, following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
  • Assist with the distribution of clean linen to various departments as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull laundry carts and bags.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory management.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of basic health and safety practices in a laundry environment.
