Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic Housekeeping team at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and categorize soiled laundry items, including guest linens, towels, and employee uniforms, according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and hotel procedures.
- Load and unload laundry into machines, ensuring proper weight distribution and appropriate use of detergents and cleaning agents.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, damage, or wear, and re-process or report as necessary.
- Fold, press, and hang clean laundry items neatly and systematically, preparing them for storage or distribution to guest rooms and departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including equipment, floors, and storage shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required, ensuring seamless operation across departments.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
