Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated and efficient Laundry Attendant to join our vibrant team at Leshoma Guesthouse. You will be responsible for the full laundry cycle, from sorting and washing to drying, folding, and ironing, all while adhering to strict hygiene and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and process guesthouse linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers efficiently and safely.
- Fold, iron, and press all laundry items neatly and to high standards.
- Inspect all items for damage, stains, or wear and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry room and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage laundry supply inventory and notify supervisors of replenishment needs.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and confidentiality, ensuring timely return.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on laundry machinery and report malfunctions promptly.
