Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all linens, towels, and guest/staff garments according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before and after washing, applying appropriate treatment methods.
- Handle delicate fabrics with care and follow specific cleaning instructions.
- Manage laundry inventory, ensuring adequate supplies of detergents, softeners, and other consumables.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards within the laundry area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
