Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort laundry by type, color, and fabric, adhering to specific washing instructions.
- Wash, dry, fold, press, and iron all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and wear, reporting any issues to supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and storage spaces.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and chemicals, notifying management of needs.
- Ensure all laundry operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Handle delicate fabrics with care and use appropriate cleaning agents.
- Assist with linen distribution to various hotel departments as needed.
- Adhere to established timelines and productivity standards to ensure smooth hotel operations.
