Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron a variety of laundry items, including linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and wear before and after laundering, treating as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and communicate needs effectively.
- Assist with other general duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
