Motebong Lodge is seeking a diligent and reliable Laundry Worker to join our exceptional team in Ha Makhalanyane, Thaba-Tseka. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our linens, towels, and staff uniforms are spotlessly clean, perfectly pressed, and readily available for our guests and colleagues. Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all lodge linen, including bedding, towels, and staff uniforms, ensuring they meet hygiene and presentation standards.
- Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear before and after laundering, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspace.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, detergents, and chemicals, and report replenishment needs.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Fold and neatly store laundered items in designated areas, ensuring easy access for various departments.
- Assist with other hotel-related duties as required, supporting the overall team effort.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
