Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Learning & Development Manager to join our growing team in Opelika, Alabama. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s business goals and culture.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across various departments and employee levels.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, webinars, and blended learning solutions.
  • Curate and manage content for our learning management system (LMS), ensuring a rich and accessible library of resources.
  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to create tailored learning paths and content.
  • Implement and oversee leadership development programs, talent management initiatives, and succession planning frameworks.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all L&D programs through metrics, feedback, and ROI analysis, making data-driven improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging learning technologies, and adult learning theories to continuously innovate our approach.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning and development programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use it to inform L&D strategies and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications in instructional design, coaching, or talent development (e.g., CPTD, ATD credentials).
  • Experience in a technology or HR tech environment.
  • Familiarity with various assessment tools and competency frameworks.
