Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the learning management system (LMS), including user management, course creation, and content deployment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users, resolving issues related to course access, progress tracking, and system functionality.
- Upload, organize, and manage various learning content types (e.g., videos, documents, SCORM packages) within the LMS.
- Generate and analyze LMS reports to track learner progress, course completion rates, and overall platform usage, providing insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content creators to ensure content is optimized for the LMS and meets technical specifications.
- Assist in the development and documentation of LMS procedures, guidelines, and user manuals.
- Stay informed about LMS best practices, new features, and industry trends to recommend system enhancements.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on courses and learning modules prior to launch.
- Manage user groups, permissions, and access controls within the LMS.
- Assist with the migration of learning content or system upgrades as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LMS administration or coordination.
- Proficiency with at least one major LMS platform (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Workday Learning, Saba Cloud, Cornerstone OnDemand).
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a part-time capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience with SCORM and AICC standards.
