Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including SEN.
  • Assist teachers in preparing and adapting learning materials to meet individual student requirements.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum, promoting their engagement and understanding.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress effectively.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and maintain student discipline under teacher guidance.
  • Promote students' independence, self-esteem, and social skills.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as playtime or lunch breaks.
  • Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies and procedures.

  • First Aid certification.
  • Makaton or PECS experience.
