Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group learning support to students with diverse needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised learning plans (ILPs) and educational support plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and external specialists to ensure holistic student support.
  • Monitor student progress, record observations, and contribute to regular reviews.
  • Help create and adapt learning materials and resources to meet specific student requirements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student independence and self-esteem.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure student welfare.
  • Support students with homework, classwork, and revision techniques.
  • Assist with exam access arrangements and practical support during assessments.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection guidelines.
  • First Aid certification (training can be provided).
