Key Responsibilities
- Assist library users with general inquiries, locating materials, and using library facilities.
- Shelve and organise library materials accurately and efficiently according to classification systems.
- Process new arrivals, returns, and renewals using the library management system.
- Maintain the tidiness and organisation of library shelves, reading areas, and public spaces.
- Support librarians with administrative tasks, data entry, and special projects.
- Help with the setup and dismantling of library events, workshops, and displays.
- Ensure all library equipment (printers, computers, self-service kiosks) are in working order and assist users with technical issues.
- Handle basic circulation duties, including issuing and receiving items.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all library patrons and staff.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
