Career.zycto is actively seeking vigilant, responsible, and certified Lifeguards to join our team on a casual basis in Fulda, Hesse. As a Casual Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of patrons at various swimming pools, lidos, and potentially other aquatic facilities we partner with throughout the Fulda region.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the swimming area, recognizing and responding to emergencies.
- Enforce all aquatic facility rules, regulations, and policies to ensure swimmer safety.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid, CPR, and AED as needed.
- Educate patrons on safe swimming practices and proper use of facility amenities.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the facility and equipment, reporting any hazards or malfunctions.
- Assist with facility opening and closing procedures, including light cleaning and organization.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Attend all required in-service training sessions and maintain current certifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting patrons courteously.
Required Skills
- Current Lifeguard Certification (e.g., DLRG Silber or equivalent national certification).
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
- Excellent swimming proficiency and water rescue skills.
- Strong observational skills and ability to maintain concentration.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound judgments in stressful situations.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding duties.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a public aquatic facility.
- Additional certifications such as Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or advanced rescue techniques.
- Proficiency in German and English.
- Knowledge of aquatic facility operations and maintenance.
