Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of lighting equipment to and from various event sites.
- Support senior technicians in the setup, rigging, and cabling of lighting fixtures, control consoles, and associated hardware.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot basic lighting system issues under supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols during equipment setup, operation, and dismantle.
- Assist in power distribution setup and cable management, ensuring a tidy and safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider production team, including audio and video technicians, stage managers, and event coordinators.
- Shadow experienced lighting technicians to gain practical knowledge of lighting design, programming, and operation.
- Maintain an organized inventory of equipment and report any damages or missing items.
- Be proactive in learning new technologies and techniques within the lighting industry.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in lighting, live events, theatre, or audiovisual production.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and safety (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).

Preferred Qualifications
