Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of live concert production: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Liaise directly with artists, management, venues, and external suppliers for seamless coordination.
  • Manage technical production elements, including sound, lighting, staging, and backline, in collaboration with production teams.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and uncompromising quality.
  • Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and insurance, adhering to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and manage event staff, including stagehands, ushers, and security personnel.
  • Conduct pre-event site visits and post-event debriefs to evaluate success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement robust contingency plans for potential issues, ensuring smooth event flow.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotional strategies for upcoming concerts and events.
  • Ensure exceptional audience experience and artist satisfaction at all Career.zycto productions.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in live event management, specifically within the music industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale concerts or music festivals.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial acumen and extensive experience in budget development and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio, lighting, and staging technologies, and general production workflows.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly to changing situations, and make critical decisions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations pertinent to live events in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Music Business, Arts Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or event safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
  • Established network within the UK music industry, including artists, agents, venues, and suppliers.
