Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general house cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all living areas.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and organizing pantry items.
  • Laundry management: washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
  • Grocery shopping and errands as needed, maintaining inventory of household supplies.
  • Preparing simple, healthy meals according to family preferences (if agreed upon).
  • Ensuring all household appliances are kept clean and in good working order.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards within the home.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling effectively.
  • Assist with childcare duties if required and agreed upon.
  • Proactively identify and address household maintenance needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in domestic work or household management (at least 2 years).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and highly reliable.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic cooking skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding cleaning tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant training or certification in household management or hospitality.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
  • References from previous employers demonstrating consistent reliability and performance.
  • Experience with child minding or elderly care.
