Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized, reliable, and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Live-in Storekeeper. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the store, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using both manual and digital systems, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting any significant variances.
  • Ensure the proper storage, safekeeping, and security of all stored items, minimizing loss, damage, or pilferage.
  • Organize and maintain the storeroom in a clean, orderly, and easily accessible manner, optimizing space utilization.
  • Prepare requisitions for stock replenishment as needed, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure continuous supply.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety, security, and operational protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify obsolete or slow-moving items for appropriate action.
  • Provide regular reports on stock status, consumption, and storage efficiency to management.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar inventory management role.
  • Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for inventory tracking.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and accountability.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with specialized inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of safety and security procedures in a storage environment.
  • Ability to speak multiple local languages.
