Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily feeding and watering of livestock according to established schedules and dietary requirements.
- Monitor livestock for signs of illness, injury, or distress and report any concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with birthing and rearing young animals, providing necessary care and support.
- Clean and sanitize barns, pens, and other animal housing areas to maintain hygienic conditions.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely, such as tractors, skid steers, or feed mixers (training provided if necessary).
- Assist with milking procedures, including preparing animals and equipment, and ensuring milk quality.
- Handle and move livestock humanely and efficiently, utilizing proper techniques.
- Participate in vaccination, tagging, and other animal health protocols.
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, health, and other operational data as required.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working with large animals in various weather conditions
- Basic observational skills for monitoring animal health

- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
