Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our growing team in La Caverne, Vacoas-Phoenix. As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the lending process, from initial inquiry to loan disbursement. You will be responsible for assessing financial needs, evaluating creditworthiness, and recommending appropriate loan products that align with both our clients’ goals and the company’s lending policies. Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored loan solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews with loan applicants to gather financial and personal information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
  • Prepare and present detailed loan proposals to credit committees, justifying recommendations with sound financial analysis.
  • Ensure all loan applications comply with company policies, banking regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Manage the entire loan lifecycle, from application submission to approval, disbursement, and ongoing client communication.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging in community outreach and networking activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes within the banking and credit industry.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial advisory role within a banking or credit institution.
  • Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in banking or financial services.
