Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our growing team in La Caverne, Vacoas-Phoenix. As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the lending process, from initial inquiry to loan disbursement. Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored loan solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews with loan applicants to gather financial and personal information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
- Prepare and present detailed loan proposals to credit committees, justifying recommendations with sound financial analysis.
- Ensure all loan applications comply with company policies, banking regulations, and legal requirements.
- Manage the entire loan lifecycle, from application submission to approval, disbursement, and ongoing client communication.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging in community outreach and networking activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes within the banking and credit industry.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial advisory role within a banking or credit institution.
- Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
