Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to identify lending opportunities.
- Conduct thorough credit analyses, including financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and collateral valuation.
- Structure and negotiate loan terms and conditions in alignment with bank policies and client needs.
- Manage a portfolio of diverse loans, ensuring sound credit quality and proactive risk management.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for loan growth and cross-selling of other banking products.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal credit policies, banking regulations, and compliance standards.
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals and present them to credit committees for approval.
- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients on various banking solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior loan officers or team members, as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the banking sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Solid knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
