Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking highly motivated and results-oriented Loan Officers to join our dynamic team as Field Agents in Cairo. This is a unique, commission-based opportunity for individuals passionate about making a tangible difference in their communities by providing crucial financial access to individuals and small businesses. As a Field Agent, you will be the face of Career.zycto, spending the majority of your time directly engaging with potential clients in various neighborhoods across Cairo. Your primary mission will be to identify, attract, and onboard new borrowers, guiding them through our loan application process with integrity and professionalism.

This role is not confined to a desk; it demands initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to understand and meet the financial needs of our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for conducting initial client assessments, explaining our various loan products clearly, and ensuring applicants fully comprehend their obligations. A key aspect of your role will involve meticulous data collection, verification of client information, and preliminary credit analysis to ensure responsible lending practices are upheld. You will also be tasked with monitoring the performance of your loan portfolio, maintaining strong client relationships, and proactively addressing any potential issues to ensure timely repayments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients for various loan products within target communities across Cairo.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to explain loan products, terms, and conditions clearly and comprehensively.
  • Gather and verify client information, including personal documents, business details, and financial data.
  • Perform preliminary credit assessments and prepare accurate loan applications for review and approval.
  • Achieve and exceed challenging monthly and quarterly loan disbursement and collection targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Monitor the performance of your loan portfolio, follow up on repayments, and manage any delinquencies proactively.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, loan applications, and portfolio status.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, lending guidelines, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets, preferably in a field-based role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of basic financial concepts, loan products, and customer service principles.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and a genuine customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in using mobile applications and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to commute extensively and independently within various areas of Cairo.
  • Resilience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a positive attitude under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in microfinance, banking, direct sales, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Previous experience specifically as a field agent or in direct sales within financial services.
  • Familiarity with the local market dynamics, communities, and small business landscape in Cairo.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and effectively manage a large client portfolio.
