In this full-time role, you will be a vital link in our robust supply chain, directly contributing to the seamless flow of products from our warehouse to our valued e-commerce customers. As a Logistics Clerk focused on e-commerce, your primary mission will be to ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed with precision and speed. This encompasses everything from receiving and inspecting incoming goods, accurately updating inventory systems, preparing packages for shipment, to coordinating with carriers and resolving any logistical discrepancies. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and label e-commerce orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and adherence to packaging standards.
- Prepare comprehensive shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and any necessary customs forms for both domestic and international shipments.
- Maintain precise inventory records through timely and accurate data entry into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Coordinate daily with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries, managing tracking information and resolving transit issues.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy.
- Ensure the warehouse area is kept clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) and external vendors regarding order status, shipping schedules, and potential issues.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or e-commerce fulfillment role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
