Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Logistics Coordinators in planning and tracking shipments.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and clients regarding shipment status and discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving processes.
  • Update and maintain accurate data in logistics software and databases.
  • Support the resolution of shipping issues, delays, and damages.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the logistics department.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant post-secondary education or certification in logistics, supply chain, or business administration.
  • Basic understanding of logistics terminology and processes.
  • Fluency in French (Bilingualism is a strong asset in Montreal).
