Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships, negotiating rates and service agreements.
- Optimise logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping and data management.
- Prepare and analyse reports on logistics performance, costs, and compliance.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and delays efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, operations) to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Utilise logistics software and systems for tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high degree of accuracy.
