Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Track and trace orders, providing updates to stakeholders and resolving any issues or delays.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Prepare and process necessary documentation (e.g., customs declarations, shipping manifests, invoices).
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to secure the best service and pricing.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (sales, customer service, warehouse) to align logistics activities.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role (2+ years).
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible environment.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications
