Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure seamless operations.
- Track and trace orders, providing updates to stakeholders and resolving any issues or delays.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation (e.g., customs declarations, shipping manifests, invoices).
- Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to secure the best service and pricing.
- Utilize logistics software and systems for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (sales, customer service, warehouse) to align logistics activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role (2+ years).
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
