Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team, working with one of our esteemed clients in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This crucial role is perfect for an English speaker who excels at managing the intricate flow of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery across various supply chains. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our operations, coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory management activities to meet customer demands and operational targets.

You will be responsible for scheduling shipments, tracking freight, and liaising with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless logistics processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory.
  • Schedule and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, invoices, and other relevant paperwork accurately.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems to optimize routes, track shipments, and manage inventory.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements within the logistics function.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding shipments and deliveries.

Required Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications
