Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods through the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective freight and delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Schedule and track freight shipments, including liaising with hauliers, customs brokers, and warehouses.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Process shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and invoices accurately and promptly.
- Resolve any logistical issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, proactively and efficiently.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities, including shipments, costs, and inventory movements.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proven ability to coordinate freight and delivery schedules effectively.
- Strong understanding of national and international shipping procedures and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
