Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods through the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective freight and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Schedule and track freight shipments, including liaising with hauliers, customs brokers, and warehouses.
  • Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
  • Process shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Resolve any logistical issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, proactively and efficiently.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities, including shipments, costs, and inventory movements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to coordinate freight and delivery schedules effectively.
  • Strong understanding of national and international shipping procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external liaison.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
