Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all supply chain operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to clients and destinations.
- Prepare and process essential shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), customs forms, and other import/export paperwork.
- Act as the primary point of contact, maintaining clear communication with clients, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Accurately track shipments, provide real-time status updates, and proactively manage expectations.
- Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and other logistical issues efficiently.
- Negotiate favorable rates with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize transportation costs.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date logistics records, databases, and digital files.
- Ensure strict adherence to all international shipping regulations, customs compliance, and safety standards.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance logistics processes and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar relevant role.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
