Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies using inventory management systems.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and vehicle utilization for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments (sales, customer service) and external partners (carriers, suppliers) to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, waybills, and customs declarations.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within warehouse and transport operations.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all logistics processes.
- Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to manage and track shipments from origin to destination.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.
Required Skills
