Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch).
- Coordinate and schedule incoming and outgoing deliveries for timely and accurate shipments.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Optimize delivery routes and transportation methods to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs forms.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to stakeholders and proactively resolving delays.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and generate performance reports (KPIs).
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the implementation of best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics staff, fostering continuous learning.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
