Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Logistics Coordinator specializing in Warehouse & Delivery to join our operations in Manor Park, Kingston. You will be instrumental in overseeing daily warehouse activities, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing delivery routes, and managing inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements and deadlines.
  • Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms as needed.
  • Optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution across Kingston and surrounding areas.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to facilitate smooth logistical operations.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage stock levels effectively, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive, compliant, and safe working environment.
  • Address and resolve any logistical issues, discrepancies, or customer complaints that may arise promptly.
  • Implement and maintain strict adherence to all relevant health, safety standards, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and prevent stock variances.
  • Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements, optimizing transportation costs.
  • Maintain detailed records of all logistics activities, expenses, and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, specifically in warehouse and delivery environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and track various processes simultaneously.
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations for warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
  • Experience with international shipping and customs procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of local transportation networks and regulations in Jamaica.
  • Proven track record of optimizing logistics operations and achieving measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements.
