Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on coordination. You’ll manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits, ensuring that our stock levels meet demand without unnecessary surplus. You will also be responsible for the scheduling and dispatch of goods, utilizing appropriate transportation methods to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to budget constraints. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Manage warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize operational performance.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve logistics-related issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on logistics efficiency and costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and optimize routes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in logistics and warehousing.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 4 years)
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation management
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
