Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in Denbigh, May Pen. This professional role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from our warehouse to our valued customers. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the supply chain, from inventory management and warehousing operations to local and regional delivery scheduling. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods through the supply chain, from receipt to final delivery.
  • Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely order fulfillment.
  • Schedule and dispatch delivery vehicles, optimizing routes and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, internal teams, and customers regarding shipment status and potential delays.
  • Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
  • Track and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Implement and maintain logistics policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant local and international regulations and safety standards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of local transportation regulations and logistics best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., CSCP, CTL).
  • Experience with international shipping and customs procedures.
  • Familiarity with cold chain logistics for specific product categories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, at an advanced level.
