Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse operations and delivery management to join our dynamic team in Chapelton, Clarendon. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and meticulous inventory control to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate and schedule efficient delivery routes and transportation for both incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods, optimizing for cost and speed.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, ensuring full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to proactively resolve any logistical issues, delays, or challenges.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and warehousing to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols and best practices within the warehouse environment to ensure a safe working space for all personnel.
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation, such as shipping manifests, invoices, customs forms, and other compliance paperwork, accurately and on time.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management, or supply chain roles (minimum 3 years).
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems (e.g., WMS), and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and international shipping regulations, freight forwarding, and import/export documentation.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize logistics processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCMP, APICS) is a significant advantage.
- Experience with lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency.
