Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse and delivery operations to join our dynamic team in Ironshore, Montego Bay. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the linchpin between our inventory, warehouse team, and external delivery partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including warehouse activities, transportation, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, conducting regular audits, and overseeing stock rotation.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Resolve issues concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and customer service.
  • Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and delivery efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure advantageous rates and services.
  • Proactively identify and address potential delays or issues in the supply chain, developing contingency plans.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, specifically in warehouse and delivery.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
