Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including warehouse activities, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, conducting regular audits, and overseeing stock rotation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Resolve issues concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and customer service.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and delivery efficiency.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to logistics and supply chain management.
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure advantageous rates and services.
- Proactively identify and address potential delays or issues in the supply chain, developing contingency plans.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, specifically in warehouse and delivery.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and documentation.
