Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring smooth and efficient flow from warehousing to delivery.
- Manage inventory control, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and cycle counts, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Plan and track the movement of goods according to customer requirements, optimizing routes and scheduling.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and customs forms.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and delivery personnel to ensure operational targets are met.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and compliance regulations within the warehouse and during transit.
- Analyze and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders and carriers to secure competitive rates and services.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to enhance tracking, planning, and reporting capabilities.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
