Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator – Warehouse & Delivery (Professional) to join our dynamic team in Brown’s Town, St. Ann. This pivotal role involves overseeing the seamless flow of goods from our warehouse to various delivery points, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely execution. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing inventory, optimizing routes, coordinating with carriers, and enhancing overall operational effectiveness. You will be responsible for meticulous record-keeping, problem-solving, and implementing best practices to maintain high standards of service and cost control. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and delivery.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate logistics reports for upper management, including performance metrics and cost analysis.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to optimize routes, track shipments, and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Oversee warehouse activities, ensuring proper organization, storage, and handling of goods.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) for smooth operations.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise in the logistics process efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping, import/export regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce safety standards within the warehouse and during delivery operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CTL).
- Experience with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with local transportation networks in Jamaica, especially St. Ann.
- Ability to speak additional languages relevant to Caribbean trade (e.g., Spanish).
