Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of delivery vehicles and personnel, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries, utilizing logistics software and systems.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Resolve issues related to shipping, inventory discrepancies, and transportation delays in a professional and timely manner.
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality standards within the warehouse and during delivery operations.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Train, supervise, and mentor warehouse and delivery staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience with logistics software and inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
