Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including warehouse activities, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely replenishment.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse and delivery operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement and maintain robust documentation and record-keeping systems for all logistics activities.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service quality.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance to management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems (IMS), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of warehousing principles, inventory control, and supply chain best practices.
