Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods through the supply chain, from inventory receipt to final delivery.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products efficiently.
  • Schedule and track deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to various locations.
  • Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any logistical issues, discrepancies, or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery documentation using our management systems.
  • Prepare and process necessary documentation, such as shipping labels, invoices, and customs forms.
  • Optimize delivery routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and enforce safety standards and regulations within the warehouse and during delivery operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Generate reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CILT, CSCP).
  • Experience with international shipping regulations and documentation.
  • Familiarity with local Mandeville and surrounding parish delivery routes and infrastructure.
