Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Verify accuracy of packages against delivery manifests.
- Plan and follow optimal delivery routes within Onitsha and surrounding areas.
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Obtain signatures and process payments as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues on site.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class G or higher).
- Proven experience in delivery or logistics support.
- Excellent knowledge of Onitsha road networks and traffic patterns.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 kg).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
